For everyone else it is simply an iPad you will be able to use for years and years to come.
Being new, it also comes with the optional upgraded AppleCare+ until July 2028 at which time you can choose to extend the coverage annually. AppleCare+ covers hardware failures, 24/7 Apple support, and now accidental damage repairs (with a deductible).
A refurbished one from Apple is $1458, and new (where available) it is over $1500. Brand new in 2025 it was over $1800. Plus $65/year for AppleCare+.
I am asking $995. With the keyboard, this is twice the usability of a $799 MacBook Neo.
