Wood stumps for playground, ~12-14 inch diameter and

I have been teaching three and four year-olds at the Upper Valley Waldorf

School in Quechee, Vermont for over 27 years. The children spend lots of

time outside nearly every day, and we need to replace our rotting stumps. We

are hoping for a donation (or donations) of about 25 stumps for surrounding

our sandbox and for play and for sitting. I am thinking maybe 12-14 inches

in diameter and about the same in height. I wonder if something rot

resistant like cedar is a possibility, but we are open to other native woods

as well.
