Raleigh M-400 commuter bike with rack, needs pedals

The first is a Specialized Hardrock bike, good for riders up to about 5' 4" tall. Needs a crank arm and pedal. Good tires and brakes. Good frame. The second is an older Raleigh M-400 with slicks. Solid bike, good for commuting. Needs a pair of pedals. Has a rack. Would love to see these get used. Both are free.
