The colder months may feel far away as we enjoy sunny, dry, beautiful late summer weather, but “preservation season” is here; when all good New Englanders start stocking their freezers with delicious, healthy, sustainably raised food for winter meals. October is harvest month for our pasture-raised pigs and turkeys, so don’t delay; reserve your pork share and holiday turkey here to get ready for cozy cooking.
Pork: Pork shares are available by the quarter, half, or whole animal.

Customized butchering options are a great perk of purchasing a pork share, so you get just the cuts you love to prepare. Custom cut options include: bone-in or boneless roasts, loin chops, country style ribs, plain ground pork, fresh hocks, bacon, ham roasts or steaks, and multiple sausage flavors. Did we mention that our infamous smoked bacon is included with every share?! Expect to complete a cut sheet in early October, pick up fresh meat in late October, and receive smoked meat in December. Turkey: We raise our birds during the peak of summer and plan for an early fall harvest, before short days and cold nights stress our pastured animals. This means that our Thanksgiving turkeys come to you frozen. (Ironically, this is actually the freshest way for you to get your holiday bird, compared to long “chill periods” for “fresh” grocery store birds!) Our broad breasted white turkeys strut their stuff across our pastures from August through October, eating grass, bugs, and Poulin grain. They are harvested in the 15-25 pound range. Pickup available November 1-25. We take pre-orders on a first come first served basis, so get your order on the list today!
Chicken: Whole and parted birds available in our farm store freezer year round! Our last batch of fresh whole roaster chickens will be available September 17-19. Reserve fresh chicken here.
