MiniDisc decks/portables and blank discs
Hi neighbors. I'm slowly putting together a nostalgia and media room, the kind of setup that sounds and feels like being back in the 90s, and I'm hoping some of you have pieces of it sitting in a basement or closet. If you're ready to part with something, I'd love to give it a good home and pay you a fair price for it. Not looking for DVDs or DVD players, but here's what I'd be thrilled to find:
GEAR • Small CRT TVs in the 9 to 13 inch range for retro gaming, Trinitrons especially • Bose shelf systems: Wave, Acoustic Wave, Lifestyle • Bang and Olufsen…

anything: Beosound CD players, Beogram, Beolab speakers, even Beocom phones • Working cassette decks, single or dual. Nakamichi, Technics, Sony, Aiwa • MiniDisc decks and portables, plus blank discs • CD changers and Discmans, bonus points for the original remote • Bookshelf and tower speakers: Polk, Klipsch, JBL, Advent, Boston Acoustics • Early iPods (classic, mini, anything before 2008). Dead battery is fine, I'll rebuild it. • Boomboxes, Walkmans, Sony Dream Machine clock radios • Laserdisc players • SVHS or higher end VCRs • Apple computers from the same era in working condition: iMac G3 in any of the colors, clamshell iBook, G4 Cube, eMac, PowerBook. Original keyboards, mice, and boxes are a big plus.
MEDIA • Horror and slasher VHS tapes. Big box releases, worn rental copies, the weirder the better. • Laserdiscs of any kind • Late 90s and early 2000s pop and rock CDs, single discs or a whole box you're done with • Anything Blondie or Debbie Harry. My partner is a huge fan, so records, CDs, tapes, posters, magazines, tour shirts, all of it. This one's the real mission. ;)
Working is ideal, but I'm glad to take on a project if you tell me what's wrong with it. A few scuffs never bothered me, that's half the charm.
