# UV Finds > UV Finds indexes the for sale, free and wanted postings from public community mailing lists across the Upper Valley region of Vermont and New Hampshire. Listings are read from those lists, stripped of phone numbers and street addresses, and published for 60 days. Nothing is sold here and no account is needed to read or to reply. UV Finds is at https://uvfinds.com/. It covers the Upper Valley, the region straddling the Connecticut River along the Vermont and New Hampshire border — Hanover, Lebanon, White River Junction, Norwich, Woodstock, Claremont, Windsor, Bradford, Enfield and the towns around them. ## What it is, and what it is not - It is a **read-only index**. Nothing is bought or sold on this site, there is no checkout, and there are no user accounts. - The listings are **public posts from community mailing lists**, republished here. The person who posted is not a merchant and has no page here. - Phone numbers and street addresses are **removed from every post** before publication. Email addresses never appear at all. A reply goes through a relay, so neither address is shown to the other party. - A listing is kept for **60 days** and then drops off. A URL that 404s was almost certainly older than that. - It is free to read and free to reply.
