Subject: [Lyme] 🧩 SATURDAY, AUG. 7. 9am-12: Puzzle Swap!
🧩 Bring a puzzle, take a puzzle. Looking to refresh your supply of puzzles? Keep it local! Bring complete, gently used puzzles of all sizes and swap them out for a new-to-you one. We'll be on the front lawn with tables Saturday during open hours (9-noon) to host this drop-in event. Bring 1-5 puzzles to exchange* (we'll have spare puzzles available at 9, in case you're the first to arrive). As my daughter Jane used to say, to make sure I caught her drift, "Keyword exchange, Mom." To put it more clearly, this is NOT a puzzle drop-off. Please plan to leave with at least one puzzle for every two you bring. That way, we are not left with stacks of puzzles at the end of the event. If you hope to take a stack with you, though, I recommend arriving after the halfway point, or simply hanging out with us for a while. What could be nicer on a Saturday morning than some leisure time at the library? Free coffee, tea, and water available, courtesy of the Friends. Friendly conversation courtesy of our volunteers! See you at the library, Judy ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *Swap: Exchange 😊 Exchange: 1: the act of giving or taking one thing in return for another: TRADE (e.g., an exchange of puzzles) 2 a: the act or process of substituting one thing for another b: reciprocal giving and receiving ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ -- ⠀⠀⠀ SEE - AND RESERVE - OUR NEWEST ITEMS HERE Judith G. In a welcoming environment, the Library provides services and resources that encourage learning, stimulate curiosity, and invite the sharing of ideas. The town of Lyme has taken the position that, under the NH ‘right-to-know’ laws and the requirement to hold open, public meetings, town officials, committee members and employees may not discuss town business on this or other electronic forums.
